Boarding Preparation
Caring for your four-legged family members is our top priority! Paws and Claws' boarding is available 7 days a week to provide a vacation for your pets and peace of mind for you! Our dedicated staff knows the key to your pet's happiness while staying with us is getting to know them and providing care customized to suit their individual needs. Our Chippewa Valley facility offers clean, spacious rooms and suites with features that will remind your pet of home.
Our Boarding Difference
Pamper your pet during their stay with individual activities or by joining in on the fun at doggie daycare or group play on the weekends! From getting to know you and your pets, to the meticulous safety features, to subtle touches, we've thought of all the little things, so you don't have to worry.
All boarding reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is 100% refundable as long as you cancel with at least 24 hour notice.
Boarding Hours
Check-In anytime during regular business hours:
Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 5:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am - Noon & 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Sunday: 8:30am - 9:00am & 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Check-Out
Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 5:30pm*
Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm & 5:00pm - 6:00pm*
Sunday: 8:30am - 9:00am & 5:00pm - 6:00pm*
*Please note that pets checking out after 12:30pm will receive an additional half-day boarding charge. If your pet has a bath, full groom, or daycare on their departure date they will NOT be charged the half-day fee.
Boarding does not include a departure bath. We take a number of measures to prevent the rooms and suites from becoming smelly, with heated floors to ensure they stay dry and frequent potty times to avoid accidents.

As a rule of thumb; if they won’t need it during their boarding stay, please leave it at home.
Peak Boarding Dates Policy
Due to increased demand and limited space, we have decided to implement a Peak Dates Pricing Policy. This means that during Peak Boarding Dates, all overnight rates will be increased by $2. This allows us to staff accordingly during these extra busy times. As always, a 50% deposit of 1 pet’s stay is required at the time of booking.
Peak Boarding Dates are:
1/1-1/2 (New Year’s)
3/14-3/30 (Spring Break)
4/18-4/20 (Easter)
5/23-9/2 (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend)
11/27-12/1 (Thanksgiving)
12/22-12/31 (Christmas through New Year’s)
