Meet Our Team
To serve our clients in the best way possible, our team has to be the best. Our staff is upbeat and happy, professionally dressed, and knows what’s expected of them. We are all doing continuing education to keep our skill set fresh and up to date.
We all use the proper terminology for our services and are well versed in communicating them with prospects and clients alike. In fact, every job function is documented and fully systemized. There’s a special “way” we do everything. And we reward our employees for the great work they do. We all take ownership of our responsibilities and feel great about knowing that our efforts are rewarded. Meet the team that will make your pet's daycare, boarding, and grooming experience the very best!
Stephanie, Owner
Stephanie has been loving, and working with dogs her whole life. She started showing dogs at age 13 and after her first show she was hooked! She's competed in Conformation Shows, Agility, Rally, Obedience, and Earthdog with her dogs. In 1996, Stephanie decided to turn her passion into her career. That year she opened Paws and Claws with the goal of providing a place where clients can feel comfortable bringing their furry friends to stay for the day, a week or just to get a great haircut. Throughout the last 24 years, she's attended various seminars and continues to communicate with others in the pet care industry in order to keep up to date on knowledge, education, and trends.

Avery, Manager
Avery has been a part of our team since December 2017, but her love for animals is lifelong. She started as a receptionist, kennel, & daycare attendant, eventually ending up as our Manager. Avery enjoys spending time training in the aerial arts, watching movies, and hanging out with her 2 cats, Juno & Athena.

Hannah, Groomer
Hannah Farr has worked for Paws and Claws since June of 2008, taking on many different roles over the years; she started grooming in 2019 and loves getting to make dogs their cutest selves! In her free time, she loves to garden, make art, and go on hikes with her pal Willy.

Chelsey, Groomer
Chelsey Misura has worked for Paws and Claws since 2018. She attended Rio Gran Grooming School that same year and has been grooming here ever since. She loves seeing/doing the transformations on our furry clients! In her free time, she loves to do anything outdoors and hang out with her own pets Maple and Harry.

Libby, Groomer
Libby Wood is our newest groomer to join the team. She trained under a longtime professional Groomer/Dog Breeder from the Milwaukee area. In her free time, she loves to be with her family and her dog D'Artagnan.

Noelle, Trainer
Noelle has been loving and training dogs her whole life. She has spent time on both pet skills and training for sports like Obedience, IGP, Dock Diving, Nosework and Agility with her dogs. Noelle lives with and loves her two dogs, Grimm, a 5 year old Boxer and Cascata, a 5-year-old German Shepherd. Throughout the past 15 years she has taken courses, attended seminars, and worked with people that she respects and admires in order to build an excellent toolset for herself and her clients. Noelle started No Limits Canine in 2016 with the goal of helping clients to unleash the full potential of a great relationship with their dogs. She offers group classes working on behavior, tricks, socialization and fitness as well as private sessions. She obtained her Certified Professional Canine Fitness Trainer certification in 2016 after a year of study. She is also an AKC CGC Evaluator.
