At Paws and Claws, we offer a variety of comfortable lodging choices and activities to keep your dog happy and safe! During your dog’s stay, their days can be enriched with the addition of swim time and play time options that fit their personality!

Boarding Options

Canine Rooms With Private Patio

Our standard rooms offer the comfort of a raised Kuranda bed, in-floor heat, air conditioning, and soothing music. Each dog has an indoor room with access to their own private 5' x 8' outdoor patio that is covered to protect them from the elements. Your dog will enjoy a more social atmosphere, being able to see their friends around them. No playtimes are included in the standard rooms. However, you are more than welcome to add any playtime(s) of your choice to their stay.

Rates

One dog is $35/night. Each additional dog is $31/night.*
* To receive the discounted rate, dogs must share the same room.

Canine Suites With Private Patio

Our luxury suites are a step up from our standard rooms. Our suites offer more space, privacy, and soothing music with less noise and disruption. Your dog will have a comfy raised Kuranda bed, in-floor heat, and air conditioning along with access to their own private 6' x 8' outdoor patio that is covered to protect them from the elements. Each suite guest receives daily one-on-one interactive time with our caring staff for playing, swimming, or cuddling -- whichever is your dog's preference. Additional playtimes are available by request.

Rates

One dog is $50/night. Each additional dog is $46/night.*

Food

We can provide our house food, Fromm Classic, for $3.00 per feeding per dog.

Swimming Pool

Your dog can enjoy the freedom and exhilaration of year-round aquatic exercise in our indoor 4’ deep pool. Water-loving breeds and many hunting dogs delight in a good splash in our clean and well-maintained pool. An exciting swim can provide a welcome variety for a dog battling boredom. Pool use can be by appointment or during a boarding stay. First time pool users get a free 10-minute session - just ask!

Swim Sessions: Dogs can swim 10 minutes for $17 or 20 minutes for $22.
Swim Packages: Pool rehab packages are available for $110 for 10 minute sessions and recreational use packages are available for $165 for 20 minute sessions. Packages include 10 visits.

Grooming Services

You are welcome to add grooming services during your pet's stay (provided ther is availability with a groomer). We recommend booking these services the morning of check-out (or, if checking out on a Sunday, book on Friday or Saturday). Refer to our Grooming tab for more details.

Boarding Add-Ons

Our boarding guests can also enjoy add-ons and playtime while they stay with us! We have large indoor and outdoor play areas for dogs to run, either by themselves or with other dogs. Playtime is a great way to keep your dog happy and ensure a restful afternoon nap!

Backyard Buddy: If your dog can't get enough of the great outdoors, then this is the thing for them. Your dog will have a rollicking good time with one of our staff, whether it's chasing a ball or rolling onto their backs to get a tummy rub. They'll have a great time off leash in one of our large outdoor play yards. $12/session

Puzzling Pooch: We are big fans of play. This is where the Kong comes in. A puzzle is a great way to occupy your dog using his brain. We use rubber Kong toys and add peanut butter or canned food to the inside to keep your dog busy for hours. $5/session

Snug as a Bug: What's better at bedtime than a belly rub, an all natural biscuit and a soothing spritz of lavender aromatherapy. It's the perfect ending to a perfect day for your dog. $5/session

Fluffy Blanket: If your dog likes to snuggle under the covers then this is just the extra they need. A soft fluffy blanket on top of their raised Kuranda bed will give them extra comfort they crave. $10/stay

Just Hanging Out: Is your dog independent, and likes to sniff around on their own, then this is for them. They will get to hang out in our spacious indoor play area and chill to their hearts delight. $7/session

Cozy Cuddles: Does your dog just love to snuggle in and get affection from humans? This is the add-on for them. Our staff will spend some relaxing quality time with your pup in the comfort of their own room. $12/session

Splish Splash: Does your dog love to swim? Then book them for a refreshing splash in our climate controlled indoor pool. They can fetch a ball or just swim around and enjoy the water. $17/10 minutes/session or $22/20 minutes/session

Social Butterfly: Is your dog a social butterfly? If so add this adventure to their boarding stay. Your dog will get to play with a bunch of like minded dogs, off leash in one of our extra large outdoor areas. $12/session (must have passed the Daycare/Group Play evaluation to participate)

Daycare with a Difference: Does your dog like to keep busy? Then try Daycare with a Difference when they are boarding. They will have a full day of playing with friends and exercising their muscles as well as their brain(must have passed the Daycare/Group Play evaluation to participate). $24/session if staying in the suites, $29/session if staying in the standards

Required Vaccinations

Proof of a current rabies vaccine is required for all pets over 6 months of age (received by us before their stay). Distemper, Bordetella, and a flea & tick preventative are also highly recommended. For the safety of all our guests we cannot board a pet with existing fleas. If fleas are discovered on a pet already checked in, we will give them Capstar (a fast-acting oral flea treatment) and then bathe them in a natural flea shampoo (additional charges apply). Owners will need to follow up with a flea treatment (preferably an oral treatment like NexGuard or Capstar).

Potty Schedule

Potty schedules are kept as close to homelike as possible to avoid accidents. The first let out is at 7am and the last is around 9pm.

Medication Administration

We are able to administer medications while your pet stays with us, for $1 per medication administration. Please bring medications in their original containers so we have accurate instructions.

What to Bring

You may bring your pet's own food. We ask that you place each meal in a Ziploc bag or put in gallon-sized bags. Our house food, Fromm Family Pet Foods, is also available for purchase, but we believe keeping your pet on a consistent diet minimizes upset stomachs, so bringing your own food is usually the best option.

Pets are welcome to bring any personal belongings such as blankets, toys, and treats. We provide our canine guests with stainless steel dishes and Kuranda beds. We are not responsible for lost or destroyed items.
